Who we are
TapScanLink is operated by Henri Horn as an Australian sole trader (ABN 71 391 565 716). You can contact us at [email protected] or by post at PO Box 62, Bungalow QLD 4870, Australia.
Information we collect
When you contact us, request a quote or purchase a product or service, we may collect your name, business name, email address, contact details, delivery details, order specifications, correspondence, logos, artwork and menus that you choose to supply. Our website uses an email-based enquiry process. You may also contact us by phone or in person. We do not operate an online checkout.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, check artwork and order specifications, supply products, coordinate delivery, host and update agreed digital content, manage accounts and invoices, address problems, and meet legal obligations. We do not currently operate a customer mailing list or behavioural advertising program.
Website technology
The website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, requests and device information. We currently do not intentionally install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other advertising trackers. The site does not intentionally set optional advertising cookies.
Email and service providers
Enquiries are sent through your own email application to TapScanLink. We use Zoho Mail for business email and Cloudflare for website and content hosting. We may use suppliers, manufacturers, shipping providers and, where agreed, third-party ordering platforms to deliver requested services. We share only information reasonably needed for the relevant work.
Overseas processing
Cloudflare, email providers and manufacturers may process or access information outside Australia. Service providers may use infrastructure and support teams in multiple countries; the locations depend on the provider and the service used. Avoid sending sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
Restaurant menus and ordering
Restaurant-provided menus, logos and public-facing business information may be published at an agreed web address. TapScanLink does not currently collect diners’ orders or payment details through its own ordering system. Any third-party ordering provider is responsible for its own platform and privacy notices; integration arrangements will be confirmed separately.
Storage and security
We use reasonable account security and access controls and retain information for as long as reasonably required for customer relationships, service delivery, disputes and record-keeping. We do not publish a fixed deletion period because retention varies with the information and legal requirements.
Access, correction and enquiries
Contact [email protected] if you would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold, or raise a privacy concern. We will review the request and respond as reasonably practicable, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Legal scope and updates
Depending on turnover and activities, some Australian small businesses are exempt from parts of the Privacy Act 1988, while exceptions can apply. We handle privacy enquiries and requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements. We may update this notice when services or technology change.
