Google Review Stands and Tags with NFC and QR Code

A card can be handed over. A stand asks for the review all day long. A TapScanLink Google review stand sits on your counter, reception desk or table, and invites every customer to tap or scan their way straight to your Google review form – even when you're busy serving.

Why a counter stand works

  • Always visible. Customers see the invitation while they wait, pay or check out.
  • No staff time needed. The stand does the asking, though a quick mention from your team still helps.
  • One action. Tap with an NFC-compatible phone, or scan the QR code with the camera. Your review page opens directly.
  • No app, no searching. Customers don't have to look up your business or scroll through Google Maps.

How it works

  1. Place the stand where customers pause – next to the EFTPOS terminal, on reception or at the end of the table.
  2. The customer taps or scans. NFC and QR both open the same destination.
  3. Your Google review form appears. The customer chooses their rating and writes their own review.

Stand formats and branding

Our NFC and QR review tags come in two formats: flat stick-on tags for counters, walls, windows or tables, and small standing displays that sit on the counter or reception desk. The standard size is usually 10 cm × 10 cm; other sizes and custom designs are available on request. Stands can carry a ready-made Google Reviews design or your own logo and colours. Final design, format and specifications are confirmed in your written quote before production.

Direct link or managed link

Choose a direct link to your Google review page for the simplest setup, or a managed link that can be updated later without replacing the stand. Managed links may involve an ongoing service arrangement, which we explain upfront.

Great places for a review stand

  • Cafés, bakeries and takeaways – beside the register or pick-up counter
  • Restaurants and bars – at the host stand or on tables
  • Salons, barbers and clinics – on reception, where clients settle their bill
  • Hotels, motels and holiday parks – at check-in and check-out
  • Retail shops – at the checkout
  • Gyms and studios – at the front desk

Stand, card or both?

A stand works best in one fixed spot that every customer passes. A card is better when you want to hand the request to someone personally, or when your team works away from the counter. Many businesses use a stand at the counter and cards for staff on the go – see our Google review cards.

Honest reviews only

Our stands open Google's standard review form. They don't screen out unhappy customers, offer incentives or post anything automatically – they simply make leaving a genuine review quicker.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Google review stand?

A small display for your counter or reception that customers tap with an NFC-compatible phone or scan with their camera to open your Google review page.

Will it work if a customer's phone doesn't have NFC?

Yes. The QR code on the stand can be scanned with almost any phone camera, so every customer has a way in.

Where should I put the stand?

Where customers pause after a good experience – the checkout, reception desk, pick-up counter or table.

Can the stand be branded with my logo?

Yes. Custom branding is available and confirmed in your written quote.

Does Google allow review stands?

Yes. Asking customers for reviews is fine. What Google doesn't allow is offering incentives or filtering out negative reviews – our stands do neither.

Can I change the link on the stand later?

With a managed link, the destination can be updated without replacing the stand. A direct link is fixed.
