Hosted Services Terms
PDF menus, managed links and optional digital pages
Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Australian sole trader · ABN 71 391 565 716
Services covered
These terms apply where we agree to host a restaurant PDF, manage a business subdomain or redirect, update public-facing content or provide a custom digital landing page. The written quote confirms which services are included.
Monthly billing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, hosting is billed monthly in advance by invoice. No minimum fixed term applies. Prices and included updates are specified in the individual quote, not assumed from this website.
Customer updates
Customers may email replacement PDFs, menu changes and business information. We make agreed updates manually within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the scope and turnaround specified in the quote. Additional design work or unusually frequent changes may be quoted separately.
Customer content and permission
You retain rights to your original menus, logos and artwork. You grant us a limited permission to store, reproduce and display supplied materials as necessary to deliver the agreed service. You warrant that the material can lawfully be used and does not infringe third-party rights.
Subdomains and URLs
A TapScanLink subdomain is a hosted service address, not a domain transferred to the customer. We retain control of the parent domain and infrastructure. If a subscription ends, the hosted content or managed link may stop working. We recommend retaining original copies of menus and artwork.
Cancellation and notice
You can cancel by emailing [email protected] before your next billing period. We will confirm the cancellation and the final service date. Ordinarily, hosting remains active through the paid period. We will give reasonable advance notice of the planned removal or disabling of hosted content or managed links. Any legally required refund or other remedy remains available.
Availability and maintenance
We aim to maintain service availability but cannot promise uninterrupted access, including during hosting-provider outages, network issues, necessary maintenance or third-party changes. We will take reasonable steps to restore services we control.
Third-party ordering integrations
If requested, we may connect an NFC/QR link to an existing ordering platform or discuss setup through a suitable third-party provider. Availability and integration depend on the restaurant’s system and provider terms. TapScanLink does not currently provide its own checkout, payment processing or kitchen-management platform. Provider fees and responsibilities will be agreed separately.
Changes and price increases
We will communicate material service changes or price increases before they take effect and give customers a reasonable opportunity to cancel before the next paid period. We will not make unilateral changes that would be unfair or contrary to applicable law.
Legal rights and contact
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer guarantees or other non-excludable rights. For service issues contact [email protected].
